Morning tea will be served on the verandah giving you the chance to unwind and breathe in the tranquility of the surroundings.
You will then have a short "get to know you" ride in the arena before heading out on the trail which takes you through farmland, native bush and along the banks of the Waimata river.
We will stop for a picnic style lunch before riding back to the homestead.
Take the opportunity to relax and explore the farm. You can meet the stallions and progeny of the versatile "MJK" horses, which are bred on the property, swim in the river, or take advantage of some of the nearby walking tracks.
Dinner will be served on the guest verandah. The meal is prepared by local food writer and stylist Sally Cameron, using fresh local produce and accompanied by some of Gisborne's finest wines.
Breakfast is served at 8 am and check out is 10am.
